The winner of the intense bidding between two long-term supporters of the fraternity went home with this custom bottle from the Sherwin Family Vineyards. The Bid for Better Men live and silent auction raised a total of over $70,000 which will help support the Educational Foundation of Alpha Gamma Rho to provide better programming for the AGR Home Office staff, devoted volunteers, alumni leaders and collegiate officers of Alpha Gamma Rho.
Ag 1 Source has collaborated with the Sherwin Family Vineyards in Napa Valley, California to design and bring a special item to the live auction at the upcoming 65th National Convention of Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity in New Orleans, August 2-5. This one-of-a-kind auction item is a specially designed 3 Liter Double Magnum bottle of wine with licensed artwork featuring the Alpha Gamma Rho logo and Coat of Arms etched and embossed on a premium special edition Cabernet Sauvignon by the Sherwin Family Vineyards of Napa Valley, California. This featured item is sponsored by 3 AGR fraternity brothers, Matt Sherwin – Beta Kappa (Chico State) #472, and the Ag 1 Source recruiting firm, Mike Smith – Alpha Zeta (Kansas State) #922 and Mark Waschek – Lambda (Univ. of Minnesota) #1351. All proceeds are tax deductible and will go to the Educational Foundation of Alpha Gamma Rho which supports scholarships, leadership development, and more.
Mike Smith, President/CEO, will also be representing Ag 1 Source at the AGR Career Fair, as well as Mike and brother Del Adcock of the Alpha Zeta chapter – Kansas State, will be conducting a workshop on alumni relations at the 3-day Convention.
