I grew up in the seed industry in California as a daughter of a seed dealer. After completing my degree in Genetics and Plant Science from the University of California, Davis, I worked in various capacities in the vegetable seed industry. I have spent the last 30 years in areas including seed production, research, product development, market development, sales and marketing. I worked in the seed technology industry at INCOTEC, for 8 years helping develop markets nationwide for the vegetable and flower industry utilizing new seed technologies. From the supplier end of the business, I spent 8 years in product management, sales and marketing on a global and national level for Petoseed Company. I moved into the dealer end of the business in 1993 doing direct sales in the Pacific Northwest for Frontier Seeds, Northwest and Keithly Williams Seeds. Throughout my years in the industry I have belonged to many associations, including the California Seed Association, the Pacific Northwest Seed Association, the National Onion Association, Idaho Hay Growers Association, the Federal Marketing Order for the Idaho/Eastern Oregon Onion Growers, the Pacific Northwest Vegetable Association, and more.

With my years of experience in the Ag Business, I have seen the importance of having the right people in any organization and how vital that is to building a successful team.
